Euro Grade 6
The Euro Grade 6 is an insurance-approved security safe, certified to EN 1143-1 Grade 6, for cash processing, precious metals, high-value stock and institutional storage. Three sizes hold 180, 240 and 300 litres, in cabinets 1080 to 1680 mm high on a constant 690 by 660 mm footprint.
Certified Grade 6 burglary protection
Every Euro Grade 6 is independently tested for burglary resistance to EN 1143-1 and certified by SBSC in Sweden and ECB•S in Germany, rather than rated by the company that built it. Grade 6 is the second-highest grade in the European safe standard, specified where an attack is expected to be sustained, tooled and well informed. What you can insure inside depends on your policy and your market, so confirm the sum with your insurer.
Choosing your Euro Grade 6
All three sizes share the same width and depth and differ only in height, so a larger model takes the same floor area and simply stands taller. At this grade the weight of the safe is usually what decides the installation: a structural check of the floor and the delivery route should come before the order, not after it. Each safe is opened by a double key lock on the four-eyes principle together with a mechanical combination lock, so opening always needs two people. Finished in White RAL 9010, with floor anchor points. The Euro Grade 5 range offers the same capacities one grade lower, and the Euro Grade 7 range one grade higher.
