STL AS Grade 1
The STL AS Grade 1 is a certified car key safe, tested to EN 1143-1 Grade 1 and certified by ECB•S in Germany, holding 280, 504 or 1008 keys on pull-out racks. Built for car dealerships, fleet operators, workshops and letting agencies.
Certified Grade 1 key storage
A key cabinet is worth certifying because keys are worth what they open: a rack of vehicle keys is a faster route into a forecourt full of cars than any lock on the cars themselves. The STL AS is independently tested for burglary resistance rather than rated by its own maker. Grade 1 is a step above Grade 0 and is the burglary rating commonly asked for by commercial insurance policies; the Grade 0 range is the same cabinet one grade lower. What you can insure inside depends on your policy and your market, so confirm the sum with your insurer.
Choosing your STL AS Grade 1
Three cabinets stand 750, 1150 and 1550 mm high, 650 to 850 mm wide, on a constant 530 mm depth, so a larger model gains capacity in height rather than floor space. Capacity is quoted in keys rather than litres, which is the practical measure here. Choose a double-bit key lock with two keys, a single-user code lock, a 9-user code lock, or a 90-user digital lock with emergency key override and audit trail. Finished in Graphite Grey RAL 7024 or Light Grey RAL 7035, with 180-degree internal hinges and floor and rear-wall anchor points.
